Welcome to Zabu Zakka! The name is a small joke — 杂不杂货店 loosely translates to: "Is it a miscellaneous goods shop? Yes, it is!" It's a nod to the Japanese concept of zakka (雑貨) — finding something worthwhile in everyday objects. That's the spirit behind everything here.

A One-Person Shop

Zabu Zakka is run by just one person. Every product has been personally found and chosen — there's no bulk buying or trend-chasing involved. Just a genuine interest in well-made, thoughtful things, and wanting to make them easy to find.

How Things Are Chosen

The shop focuses on stationery and lifestyle goods — notebooks, washi tapes, stamps, stickers, and accessories from makers who take their craft seriously. Brands like MIDORI, Cozyca, Oh.Bleu, and JIUKOUSHAN sit alongside many others, all chosen because they're genuinely good.

The simple question for any new product: is it something I'd actually want to use or give to someone? If yes, it earns a place in the shop.
